One of ease. I’ve asked that God NOT use me

To show strength😩. No, this 2022?

I’m the poster child for “Only available for enjoyment”

In return, I’m committed to practicing two things:

Gratitude and generosity.

Thankfulness for the things I DO have,

Not focusing on everything that’s wrong or lacking🤦🏽‍♀️

In practice, this means challenging myself to pray

Every single time I think of a worry.

And generosity of spirit,

Giving all of myself to the things & people, I love.

Doing life, being present, living with vim and courage.

“If your life ended today, would you be satisfied?”

I asked me.

How do I plan to do everything? I’ll tell you.

My favourite worship song is Be Magnified.

The Fred Hammond version starts like this:

“Lord we enlarge you in our vision right now.

Greater than our problems, greater than our fears, Greater than our insecurities, greater than our failures

Greater than the devil himself.”

That’s my hope for 2022, such pure focus on God,

His capacity, ideas and most vital, His willingness,

That it blocks out every fear, insecurity or failure.

Everything keeping me from living as He purposed.
