I’m listening to Heather Headley’s ‘In My Mind’ which iTunes tells me (read: warns me) I’ve listened to 58 times since 12am…it is now about 3am. LOL. And no, I am not going through a break up or anything equally dramatic. I’m more likely to eat peppery Suya and drink too many criminally cold bottles of Fanta at an abandoned car park while cursing out men in general, than lie in bed wailing softly and singing along to an R & B singer’s misery, after a break up anyways. Not like any of that will happen, God willing.

It’s just that this song is so sad, I love all the emotions in Heather’s voice. She has such a gift!…Ok that and I slept for several long hours earlier in the day and now can’t fall asleep even though church is at 7am. Joy, pure joy. -_-

(BTW, I guess it’s a sad sign of the times that we live in that people on YouTube actually watched and commented on this video tagging it, ‘The Side Chick’s Anthem’. *Insert sigh here*. Is the species evolving at all?! Nothing is wholesome anymore, everything must be perverted and trivialised. This generation has neither soul nor conscience…nor chill, come to think of it.)
