I’ll start by apologising for not being here often enough, for not writing more. I want to tell you that life has been busy and full, and I barely have enough time for myself to even consider the luxury of sitting still to combine thoughts and share life through bleeding ink on a page.

I would be lying.

I’d be lying y’all! *Hides face, ashamed*

I’ve been lazy. Procrastinating and more recently suffering from a perverse case of writer’s block. I find that I have a lot to say yet no real understanding of where and how to start. I’m forcing myself to make like Amy and go back to black basics, block or not I’ll try to just write….while assuming of course, a global audience waiting with baited breath for pearls of wisdom from my throne of literary grace. LOL! I’d write if I was the only one reading TBH…but laziness will just.not.let.me.live, fam!

Lol. It’s sad. I’m going to try harder, God help yo girl! I have much to say, tales on love, maraychhh (lol), the fire that almost consumed my parents house and the futility of relying on Nigeria, the misplacement of our president and commander-in-chei-GODT!!!, the heart of Judas and posturing yourself before God, living single, respect vs regard…so much to talm’bout! Pray brethren for the spirit of laziness to be vanquished in me!!!! To bolster my concern, the other day, I met one of my loveliest aunt’s at a wedding and the first thing Aunty Bisi said was, “Where is your husband?! I want to talk to him, is he the one who’s stopped you from writing?!” Lol I didn’t know how to shape my lips to explain that the unvaquished spirit of territorial laziness dwelleth mightily within me. So I said the only thing a good wife could, with meekness and submission I gently replied, “Yes ma.”

Obi’m thanks for taking one for the team…BUT I’d avoid aunty if I were you, babe! Lol!
