A: Ma sweeedth goll! My eyes were filled with tears reading your message. Hard as that may be to imagine, because helllooo tough cookie! LOL! I feel like all those hefty praises should be from me to you not the other way round. I talk about you to others with so much pride because I am really proud of you and the unique combination of qualities that is so quintessentially you! Tried and tested, yet unbowed; cautiously frugal yet so bountifully generous; so so intelligent yet not so serious; passionately dexterous and delicately feminine; genuinely passionate in your walk with God and unapologetically committed to the values you hold dear, to name a few. These individual traits are weighty enough, let alone the combination of them all in you, Wendy.
Heather Lindsey posted something the other day about transient friendships that are situational and shouldn’t be forced when they expire and lifelong friendships that have the same depth as a covenant and I am so thankful that I could relate to the latter because of you. I am still on the journey to self discovery and actualization and you have been there as a compass; guiding, chiding, praying, cheering.
